2012

In 2012, the United States government needed to put a team together for the most top secret and dangerous missions. Candidates for this team were chosen and participated in a clandestine mission in 2012. When the mission was complete, six soldiers were selected to be a part of this elite team. The team was called Team Blue Blood.

2013

In 2013, the CIA discovered multiple unknown warheads located in the area of [REDACTED]. Team Blue Blood was immediately tasked with gathering these warheads. After a three-hour mission with heavy fighting, the six-man team was successful in recovering a sample of the warheads without any casualties.

2014

After examining the warheads brought back by Team Blue Blood, it was discovered they contained some sort of engineered biological agent, but had traces of chemical weapons compounds. About 6 months after the initial mission, a group of CIA field operatives reported 50 more of these BIOCHEM warheads spun up for deployment in a Nomengedon base, potentially posing a serious threat to the United States.

On July 18th, 2014, three elite Blue Bloods were inserted [REDACTED] from the stockpile of the BIOCHEM warheads inside of a Nomengedon base. After 10 minutes of being on the ground, all three Blue Bloods were killed in action by an overwhelming force of Nomengedon troops.

On July 25th, 2014, at or around 1800 hours EST, America was attacked with a new class of biological weapons later coined the “Bloodbath Virus”. It is estimated that over 50 million people were killed within the first five minutes of the attack. The attack, carried out by Nomengedon, was likely conducted with the warheads that Team Blue Blood failed to capture. The attack consisted of five intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBM) each armed with 10 warheads launched from offshore shipping vessels – three from the Atlantic coast, and two from the Pacific. The weapons were detonated in the air approximately 6,000 feet above sea level and created a deadly cloud that spread five miles in every direction before falling to the ground like a blanket, killing everyone caught in its wake.

On August 15th, 2014, exactly three weeks after the initial Bloodbath Virus attack, people all around the United States started dropping dead. Autopsies determined asphyxiation and profuse hemorrhage as the likely cause of death, although nearly all were privately deemed inconclusive. This resulted in a national panic over a potential of an outbreak caused by the not-yet named Bloodbath Virus.

On August 18th, 2014, three days after people started dropping dead, multiple small gas tanks were discovered all over the continental United States mostly in public trash bins and city underground utility access points. After multiple samples were taken from these gas tanks, it was tested positive for the Bloodbath Virus. This meant that there was a new strain of the virus; one that did not kill instantly.

After intense research of the new weapons from samples taken from the quarantine zones, it was concluded that the virus was made up of a bioengineered influenza strain spliced with a rhinovirus, mixed with traces of hydrogen cyanide and phosgene. Until much later, the chemical traces were an unknown factor in the viral load.

The virus that was used in the first biological chemical attack was called Bloodbath Virus Type A and the virus used in the attacks directly after the attacks with the gas tanks was called Bloodbath Virus Type B. The difference between the two is that Type A kills instantly, and Type B kills after a period of three weeks.

On August 19th, 2014, a cybersecurity firm contracted by the NSA discovered how the ICBMs got past their systems: somebody inside of NORAD used a Stuxnet virus that was uploaded to their early warning and detection systems using a RAT. The virus was uploaded at 1600 hours and was coded to destroy itself at 2000 hours. The USB used in the attack, however, was left in the culprit system. The individual responsible was never caught, however.

On August 21st, 2014, after holding out for nearly a month, the president announced a national state of emergency and the entire contingent United States was put under strict quarantine. Every city in every state was put under federal martial law and the National Guard was federalized. With fear growing over economic downturn after the closure of most American stock exchanges, people began liquidating assets and draining bank accounts. Banks quickly ran

out of cash, and stocks were tumbling faster than could be controlled by their respective safety nets. The federal government ordered a freeze on all bank withdrawals and federalized the American stock market for the foreseeable future, halting all trading.

On September 20th, 2014, Canada and Mexico began reporting similar events with people dropping dead. The areas in which this began happening were quickly quarantined within a 10-mile radius.

On September 21st, 2014, the President of the United States of America was taken to a secret location due to the increased threat of the virus.

As of September 23rd, 2014, there were an average of 310,000 people dying per day. Cure research was not faring any better. Every time researchers thought they were close to a breakthrough, the virus would drastically mutate.

On an unspecified date in October of 2014, General Z had contacted Phoenix, the legendary Team Blue Blood sniper, through Fang. Fang gave Phoenix a letter from General Z requesting he come back to Team Blue Blood for a high-risk mission. The mission was easy: go in, extract the cure files from a computer network, and get out. A CIA operative contacted General Z weeks before with possible intel of a cure and/or vaccine for the Bloodbath Virus on a research intranet in a remote Nomengedon base deep in Russia. The date of the mission at the time was unspecified, but famously stated “when the ground turns white, we’re ready to fight.”

On December 28th, 2014, the Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station was attacked by Nomengedon forces and was overrun after a two-hour firefight. The local SWAT team was deployed 13 minutes after the initial attack and the Arizona National Guard Special Forces were deployed 15 minutes later. SWAT arrived two and a half hours after the initial attack and the National Guard arrived 30 minutes after. By the time SWAT and the National Guard SF arrived, it was too late. The three nuclear reactors were about to melt down and the Nomengedon force had already fled the site. At 1500 hours local time, the three reactors simultaneously blew resulting in over 12,000 deaths due to acute radiation poisoning. The Nomengedon team had somehow salted the reactors and forced a highly radioactive contamination.

2015

On January 21st, 2015, a meeting was held between the President of the United States, Prime Minister of Canada, and the President of Mexico in an undisclosed location outside of the presidential bunker. Along with these three men was General Z, commander of the elite special operations force Team Blue Blood. The meeting was held in response to the postponed Nomengedon base infiltration that was scheduled to occur sometime in late December or early January and to come up with a plan of action for the Bloodbath Virus crossing the Mexican and Canadian borders. Ultimately, it was concluded that a cure could wait no longer and General Z had exactly one month to infiltrate the Nomengedon base and extract the cure files, or JTF2 and Delta would take over. It was estimated that by the time a cure was found based off of the files, 10% of the United States population would be wiped out by the major pandemic, the Bloodbath Virus.

On February 28th, 2015, two elite Blue Bloods HALO jumped into a Nomengedon base to extract the cure files from the Nomengedon intranet. The Blue Bloods successfully extracted the files and were extracted from the base. Neither Blue Blood was injured or killed. Mission was a success.

On that same day, special United States scientists and researchers started developing the cure for the Bloodbath Virus.

On March 1st, 2015, the Bloodbath Virus cure was distributed across the nation early in the morning. The cure was first sent to hospitals and military bases all around the continental United States. The first people to receive the cure were emergency responders such as police, fire fighters, EMTs and Paramedics through the hospitals. The next people were hospital staff themselves so they could help take care of patients without the worry of becoming infected or go through the hassle of putting on the large biohazard suits. Every soldier in the continental United States received the cure.

On March 3rd, 2015, every emergency responder and defense asset had received the cure which also acted as a vaccination against the Type B strain.

On March 4th, 2015, it was publicly announced that a dual-acting cure and vaccination had been found for the Bloodbath Virus. Every major city had mandatory administration clinics set up by the following day. Each location was heavily guarded by soldiers and police in full riot gear and riot weapons were on standby in case of a civil unrest due to people becoming crazed about receiving the vaccination as soon as possible. The soldiers at these vaccination clinics were not present to fend off an attack, but to keep order and peace among civilians in line to receive the vaccine/cure.

On March 5th, 2015, the vaccination centers were open to the public. Over 200 million people received the vaccination the first day. There were little reports of violence at these vaccination centers, but no one was seriously injured or killed in the process. The National Guard was not activated for any riot or civil unrest situations during the vaccination process. Early that morning, the cure was shipped to Alaska and Hawaii.

On March 6th, 2015, the second day of the vaccination process, around 56 million people received a vaccination. It was confirmed that, for the most part, the entire United States population. Midday, the cure was flown, and ground shipped to Canada and Mexico where people in those countries could receive the cure and vaccination.

On March 7th, 2015, the death toll in the United States was confirmed at approximately 109.9 million deaths. Approximately 34% of the U.S. population was killed because of the Bloodbath Virus. 3,193 people died from the Bloodbath Virus in Canada, and 7,293 people died in Mexico.

On March 8th, 2015, the president of the United States declared that the nationwide martial law be lifted. On this same day, decon units from the 20th CBRNE Command were sent into the Red Zones of the original BIOCHEM attacks to clean up and sterilize the cities.

On May 5th, 2015, the Red Zones were completely sterilized, and the quarantine was lifted. Citizens were free to enter the cities and return to their homes and places of business.

On May 6th, 2015, a meeting was held with the President of the United States, the Vice President, secretaries from the Department of Defense, Department of Health and Human Services, and Department of Homeland Security as well as the head of the World Health Organization, Margaret Chan, and Director Dr. Thomas R. Frieden with the Centers for Disease Control. Chief topic of this meeting was what to do about newborn babies born after March 6, 2015, who have not received the Bloodbath Virus vaccination. The topic of what to do in case of another mass BIOCHEM attack from a country, terrorist organization, or Nomengedon was also discussed.

On May 7th, 2015, the quarantine on the continental United States was lifted and civilians were allowed to enter and exit the country freely. The stock market was reopened, albeit still federalized, and the freeze on bank withdrawals was lifted.

Later in 2015, on June 23rd, a group of Blue Bloods, Delta operators, and Navy SEALs infiltrated the same Nomengedon military base where three previous Blue Bloods were killed attempting to seize more of the BIOCHEM warheads during Operation Summer Tears III. This operation was known as Operation Summer Tears IV. The mission of the U.S. soldiers was to upload a virus into a Nomengedon weapons command module located deep in the forest of the base. After eight hours of fighting to find the command module, General Z ordered the soldiers to end the mission as the sun was setting, there was no way to provide support to the soldiers on the ground, and General Z did not want a repeat of Operation Summer Tears III. Mission was a failure.

2016

Early on in 2016, shortwave enthusiasts began hearing strange and eerie musical tones after dark. Usually, these transmissions occurred between 2200- and 0600-hours EST. It was confirmed by some enthusiasts that this was an unknown numbers station broadcast. It quickly gained popularity among numbers station enthusiasts and shortwave enthusiasts alike. This led to the United States military becoming aware of and acknowledging the active transmissions. The location of the broadcast was traced back to a Nomengedon base in which many Blue Bloods were familiar with; it was the same base multiple Operation Summer Tears missions took place at. General Z was eventually notified of this, and an operation was quickly put together to shut down the active broadcast station.

On June 3, 2016, three Blue Bloods: Fang, Russian, and Hecubus, were sent into the Nomengedon main operating base to shut down the active numbers station broadcast. Complications arose when the three were attempting to disable the anti-air batteries on the ground which would allow for a quick air extraction via QUIET.

When attempting to reach the third battery, Fang was shot in the leg and was unable to move. Russian was shot; however, Hecubus was able to reach him while under fire and sort him out. Following this, Hecubus made his way towards Fang, but during this time, Russian was fatally shot in the head and was killed instantly. Hecubus was shot in the chest and his left lung began collapsing.

Fang and Hecubus were able to fight off the forces surrounding them but were not able to move anywhere. Fang was miraculously able to get to Hecubus who was fifty feet away from him with a shattered femur. Fang gave the last of his ammunition to Hecubus while Fang operated on him.

15 hours after Fang and Heck had killed the last of the Nomengedon soldiers surrounding them, Heck went unconscious. The darkness of night was almost near, and Fang had dragged himself up to Russian’s body, grabbed the ghillie suit he was wearing, and rolled his body into a small crevice of an uprooted tree. Fang covered Russian’s body with leaves and a large branch. Following this, Fang made his way back down to an unconscious Hecubus and dragged his body under a canopy of sticks and leaves at the beginning of a ravine just feet from where they were both shot. Fang laid the ghillie suit on Heck’s unconscious body and placed foliage on his body.

After concealing Heck, Fang made his way back up to Russian’s body where he laid down in the crevice of the uprooted tree and waited for the duration of the night, barely staying

staying awake until daybreak when he heard planes flying overhead.

Unbeknownst to Fang, General Z had ordered Q.U.I.E.T. to work their way into the base and locate Team Blue Blood and extract them following their radio silence which occurred shortly before Russian was shot due to unknown reasons. General Z had assumed the worst after one hour of radio silence, and per Fang’s request prior to the mission, should he go one hour without re-connecting with Z after a sudden loss of contact, Fang wanted an extract. Shortly before the radio silence and Russian’s KIA, Fang had notified Z that the second of three anti-air batteries had been rigged with the explosive charge set to go detonate when their extraction team was to be dispatched. General Z played it safe figuring they had failed to rig the last anti-air battery and they had not yet detonated the charges. This was the right call as Fang and Hecubus were en route to rigging the last anti-air battery when they were WIA and Russian was KIA providing sniper support.

Due to General Z’s call not to send Q.U.I.E.T. in on helicopters, they had to make a 130-mile drive from their original dispatch zone and up to the original hole in the fence that Team Blue Blood had made entering the base at mission onset. When Q.U.I.E.T. had made it to the outer perimeter of the Nomengedon base, they went through the fence and found a vehicle depot about 20 miles inside the base and hotwired a deuce and a half which was given the callsign “Delta Deuce.” They had taken Delta Deuce to the approximate location of where Team Blue Blood went radio silence and got out when the driver and two passengers in the front seat heard radio chatter talking about the massive search parties being dispatched and the planes above that Fang heard beginning their search in the communications sector of the base. The driver decided that he should make a long loop to draw the Nomengedon troops coming their way in another direction.

The Q.U.I.E.T. soldiers began a search pattern in three teams called Quite 1, Quiet 2, and Quiet Actual. Delta Deuce drove off and would return upon request from Quiet Actual. Fang began hearing radio chatter on his radio that he used to maintain contact with Russian and Hecubus. Quiet Actual began hearing unknown chatter on his channel and asked for identification. Fang identified himself and became known as “Downed Pilot” for purposes of throwing off Nomengedon scouts who may stumble upon a radio on Russian or Hecubus’ bodies or a Q.U.I.E.T. soldier’s body if they were to be KIA. The Nomengedon soldiers were told a small fireteam had turned hostile inside their base but were unsure of who they were and did not know this unit was targeting their air defenses or their radio array. This is not to say the original Nomengedon soldiers who were KIA were unaware of what the enemy combatants (Team Blue Blood) were after. They figured the Blue Bloods were after their special array and other equipment when they found them near the area (not even a mile away).

At this time, around noon on June 4th, Quite 2 had found Fang hidden in the crevice of the uprooted tree, and Quite 1 followed soon after. Quite 1 and Quite Actual continued fending off enemy forces while Quite 2 tried getting Fang out of the hole followed by Russian’s body. Quite 1 found Hecubus’ still unconscious body after Fang explained to them on the radio where he had hidden Heck. Because of Fang’s shattered leg (which Fang took the tourniquet off of when he was settled in the crevice for the night as to avoid an amputated leg), he had to be helped to the ravine and then slid down the ravine and used a rope system Nomengedon had put up at some point to help himself up to where Delta Deuce was supposed to pick them up. Q.U.I.E.T. soldiers from Quiet 1 carried/dragged Hecubus’ body up to the extraction zone, and Russian’s body was carried by one soldier using the cradle hold to the extraction zone being very careful with his body per Fang’s stern order.

After holding out for thirty minutes with the occasional burst of fire on their position, Delta Deuce had rolled up and began taking heavy fire from behind. Two Q.U.I.E.T. soldiers carrying MGs began laying suppressing fire while Fang was helped into the bed, followed by Hecubus, and Russian, then the rest of Q.U.I.E.T. (11 soldiers) who then covered the two gunners who hopped in. When everyone was inside, a few soldiers began laying fire behind them until they were out of range of the Nomengedon soldiers who were staging an attack on their extraction point. It is believed that an ambush was being set up along the path the Deuce was taking, but never went through for unknown reasons. This cannot be confirmed.

Delta Deuce drove to the point in the perimeter that had been breached and the two Q.U.I.E.T. sappers got out and blew a hole in the remaining part of the fence. Delta Deuce had then driven to their original extraction point where three Blackhawks were waiting and began spinning up 10 miles before their arrival. When they reached the extraction point, Fang, Russian, and Hecubus were loaded onto the medical chopper while the rest of Q.U.I.E.T. loaded up on the other two.

On the medical chopper, the onboard doctors began working on Fang’s leg and Hecubus’ collapsed lung and other injuries. It was discovered that Hecubus was suffering the effects of dehydration and heat stroke. Team Blue Blood did not drive to the base like Q.U.I.E.T. did because they were not in a hurry, and they did not want to draw attention to themselves. Their entire journey from where they began their ruck to the battle at the communications sector was around 160 miles and took them four days. When the doctors found that Hecubus was having a heat stroke, they ran fluids and poured Fang and Russian’s water on his body in a vain attempt to cool him down. His body temperature reached a peak of 110 degrees when his body completely shut down just minutes before the choppers touched down at the surveillance station.

Hecubus was rushed into the shower house, and they began pouring all the ice the camp had on his body still trying to cool him off while also attempting to restart his heart. Hecubus was pronounced dead at 6:03 am on June 5th, 2016.

Hecubus and Russian’s bodies were flown back to the States with Fang and the rest of Q.U.I.E.T. on a C-130. Fang had stabilizing surgery on his leg in the medical center at the station. When he got back stateside, he was given more formal surgery for his shattered femur and had a permanent rod implanted in his leg. His femur healed in six weeks and was back at Fort Ballestero with the rest of the surviving members of Team Blue Blood that did not partake in Operation Silent Night.

The surveillance station which had not been given an official name was titled Camp Chris in remembrance of callsign Hecubus.

None of the Q.U.I.E.T. soldiers suffered serious injuries. Many had rounds caught by their armor, and each had some minor bruising as a result. Operation Quagmire was still determined to be a success as they had retrieved all three Blue Bloods in some form… and they were expecting to find bodies.

Shortly after the Palo Verde nuclear power plant attack, a group of 45 indviduals came together to carry out a like-minded attack, this time involving actual nuclear bombs and attacking major infrastructure in the U

United States. These 45 individuals were all American citizens (born-and-raised) and were fascinated by Nomengedon’s quick attack style that somehow was able to fly below the radar of the American government but inflict major and detrimental, irreversible damage. A Nomengedon case officer was assigned to follow up with the new “terrorist” cell and assist them with limited resources but all the intelligence they needed. This eventually led to the group deciding to covertly steal a Chinese DF-5 nuclear tipped reentry vehicle with ten warheads inside. The group broke themselves up into multiple cells to prevent anyone who may be caught to not be able to acquire enough information to paint a full picture of what was going on. The Nomengedon case officer assisted with this planning stage.

At an unknown date and time in June 2015, almost a year after the Nomengedon launched BIOCHEM attack and months after the Nomengedon Palo Verde nuclear power plant attack test-run, a select amount (believed to be less than 20 but more than 10) of the sympathizers covertly entered the Chinese mountain complex where multiple ICBM silo tubes were housed, however, the Nomengedon CO was aware that the actual warheads were stored nearby the missiles – not on the missiles as vastly thought.

After a 20-hour mission coined Operation Preliminary Strike, the sympathizers were able to successfully locate, dismantle, and rebuild a single DF-5 MIRV and sneak it out of the mountain complex completely undetected. It was not until a month later that Chinese artillery noticed a missing MIRV containing 10 warheads. Originally, they were extremely hesitant to release this information to anyone, but eventually decided it would be in their best interest to notify allies and adversaries alike in the event these warheads were recovered or used so that blame would not be placed on China resulting in nuclear retaliation or unnecessary conflict. At this time, UTEN had not yet formed, and China was simply a pawn for Nomengedon who thought they were providing material and substance to Nomengedon as a proxy for fighting the United States and Western influenced nations in their sphere. China quickly determined Nomengedon was not behind the missing nukes but was still skeptical about their relationship and the possible blame China may receive if the nukes were used against the U.S. or their allies.

The date for the bombings was set to June 24th, 2016. The Chinese did not make the information publicly available, but secretly informed the United States of the situation in attempt to maintain good relations with the U.S. on strategic terms and to ensure their own safety should these nukes be used against the United States or an ally. With this information, the U.S. was went DEFCON 2. Following this, domestic intelligence gathering ramped up to levels never before seen. The DHS Domestic Nuclear Detection Office was able to successfully identify and detain 29 individuals in connection with Operation Preliminary Strike and through legally-gray means, retrieved six of the ten warheads. The other four were never recovered.

The only cell members who knew of the targets were the cell leader and his three right-hand men who assisted in organizing the bombings. None of the four were captured prior to the bombings. However, of those who were captured, most of them knew the locations of the warheads, and were able to relay the information to the JTTF investigators who were involved in their interrogations. Though nine of the ten warhead locations were correct and found, three of them had already had the warheads en route to their secondary staging point by the time FBI HRT/EOD arrived to capture the warheads. This left four unaccounted warheads still on the loose. The six retrieved warheads were handed over to the DOE for examination of the Chinese nuclear warheads which were previously never seen in person by any American. This gave intelligence officials crucial information on Chinese nuclear armament and how to prepare for, possibly mitigate, and if unsuccessful in their primary mission, respond to and recover from the other four warheads detonating.

Due to the last four not being recovered, the remaining 16 unaccounted members of the terrorist cell were able to successfully detonate the remaining four warheads at the Hoover Dam, the Grand Coulee dam, New York City, and Chicago. Washington, D.C. was not chosen as a target location due to the immense amount of radiological detection and defenses in the surrounding area, especially within the beltway. The cell believed they would not be able to sneak a van with the explosive into D.C. undetected and without risking all other operations.

In order to blow Hoover Dam, one of the 16 remaining cell members was able to steal the identity of a look-alike engineer and therefore was able to sneak into the facility on the day of the attack and remain unnoticed by other engineers or security personnel. This member (later identified as Michael Alfonzo Rodriguez – captured by FBI counterterrorism) was able to, with his stolen credentials, give access to the van carrying the warhead into the maintenance corridor leading to the center of the bottom of the Hoover Dam.

On June 24th, 2016, at 2319 hours Romeo time, the first nuclear warhead was detonated causing the dam’s structure to crack and collapse leading the entire dam breaking apart in seconds letting the entire content of Lake Mead to flow down the Colorado river instantly flooding every town and city in its path. An estimated 1.2 million people were killed by the flooding. Las Vegas lost power and water. Soon after, water riots broke out in Las Vegas as residents did not have any water on tap and stores quickly ran out of water. Another 2 million people are believed to have died as a result of the rioting, heat, lack of resources, and disease. All of this occurred within five days of the Hoover Dam bombing. This also put a significant dent in Western U.S. economic strength, and to some extent, national economic security. The stock market immediately began tumbling after the bombings. Still federalized, the government closed all trades once again to maintain economic security. The driver of the van was later identified as Timothy Austin Reeves. He was killed in a firefight with LAPD SWAT days after the bombing while in hiding.

At 2323 hours Romeo time, the Grand Coulee dam faced an exact incident with a fake engineer (this time one who snuck in and shot multiple engineers and even some security staff but was later shot and killed by remaining security officers responding to the shooting) opening all doors and neutralizing all security measures so that the second van with the warhead could enter the dam. After the van had pulled in and placed himself where he needed to be to allow for the maximum effective damage, he, too, was engaged in a firefight with security before the bomb detonated killing himself (never identified) and vaporizing his remains along with all responding security personnel and Reeves. The total death toll was eventually tallied to an estimated 5,000 people died from sudden flash flooding. However, an estimated 2.1 million people died from heat illness, disease, rioting and other violence, and lack of resources in the weeks following the dam’s bombing.

At approximately 2325 hours Romeo time, in the heart of Chicago, the third warhead was detonated. The driver of this van was identified by street camera footage captured and uploaded on a Cloud based network before the bombing as David John-Michael Harrison. Harrison had prior run-ins with the Chicago PD for DUIs and petty theft and his biometrics were in the FBI’s new biometric criminal identification database which was yet to be nationally released at the time. The bombing killed an estimated 3 million people instantaneously and the resulting fallout killed another estimated million. The financial sector in the Midwest and the manufacturing sector were badly hurt by this bombing. Indianapolis and surrounding state manufacturing capitals were put on high-alert in the hours following the bombing and had to work four-fold to make up for the loss in manufacturing and distribution from the Chicago bombing. Indianapolis International Airport was rebranded as the new flight hub of the Midwest as compared to the former Chicago. Governor Mike Pence and President Jackson allocated an additional 6 billion dollars to the upgrades of the already new airport to make up for the needed additional terminals and runways to compete with the former Chicago hubs. The grant being approved by both the State and Feds was met with national outrage and it was estimated to take 35 years to pay off in its entirety. With war around the corner and multiple attacks on American soil having happened in the months and weeks prior, the nation’s people were beyond livid $6M was going to adding onto an already large existing airport when it could be spent on other public health and defense projects.

The last target was New York City. At approximately 2359 hours Romeo time, the final unaccounted-for warhead was detonated instantly killing an estimated 13-15 million people given the multiple (ironically enough) private and public defense conferences going on in response to the recent BIOCHEM attack. NYC was soon to be marketed as a defense-networking hub and information sharing centers for all national defense including private and public sector partners as well as the civilian populous. In addition to the recent conferences, many people flocked to the city to fill in the extremely cheap housing given the major population drop following the BIOCHEM attacks. This led to a significant population spike even higher than the population was before the July 25th attacks. Many economic and industrial sectors were destroyed placing the United States on a fast decline in the global economic market. With the NYSE and many big-name company HQ’s being destroyed, the U.S.’s GDP and still strong economic place on the world stage was dropping by the second.

The U.S. had to figure out a way to combat this quickly before a total economic collapse and debt default took over making the U.S. vulnerable to even friendly forces attacking. This was a minor worry at the time, yet still one of note to President Jackson who was still suffering immense psychological trauma from the July 25th attacks. There were talks of impeachment months after the nuclear bombings as those near Jackson knew he was unfit to continue serving and making the best decisions for the nation at the time. Still, he was set to win the 2016 elections and would likely go on to serve the next four years as President.

These nuclear bombings were coined “the Midsummer Bombings.”

Three months later, the former Blue Blood gone rouge had been found. A spy at a Nomengedon outpost in Northeast Russia accidentally scheduled a meeting with Scarecrow and was able to confirm his identity. After notifying General Z of this revelation, a flash mission was put together coined Operation Sonder Shot. This was not a kill or capture job – just kill. Scarecrow had been a thorn in Team Blue Bloods side for years, and it was time for his reckoning.
